Knowles Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Our mission is to provide the services and education that contribute to the wellness of the community.

Knowles Chiropractic & Wellness Center is located on Route 102 in Bass Harbor, on Mount Desert Island, Maine.  We welcome visitors, seasonal residents and year-round residents; including, children ages 5 and up.

Our services include: wellness assessment, nutritional counseling, chiropractic manipulation and chiropractic acupuncture (needles, acupressure, laser and electrical).  We offer long-term or short-term treatments to to best accomodate the needs & wishes of a patient.

Our emphasis is wellness.  We use assessment and counseling to improve and maintain health by creating conditions in which the body is able to heal itself, maintain wellness and resist illness.

The practitioner and patient work together to cultivate wellness; much as a gardner creates the conditions in which the garden will thrive.
